Yin-Yang War was a war between the forces of Non Grata and the forces of the Freehold of The Wolves. NG conducted raids against FTW, while FTW was defending themselves in the Snake Eyes War. A likely secondary cause was bad blood from when FTW decided to use the yin-yang symbol in their new flag. NG uses the yin-yang symbol as well.
Prelude[]
On March 16th, 2019, COBRA declared war on the Freehold of The Wolves over failed diplomacy. When war broke out, RFI declared war on Cobra in defense of FTW. During this time, Non Grata took the opportunity to raid FTW.
War[]
The war began on March 20th, 2019 when NG conducted military raids on FTW.
On July 18th, 2019, after 4 months of raiding FTW, Non Grata officially declared war on Freehold of the Wolves.
On July 29th, 2019, Non Grata posted their Declaration of Existence.
On August 2nd, 2019, NPO, along with the IRON and the ODN denounced Non Grata as an alliance, named them rogues and declared war on them. This event led to the sub-conflict of the Hazardous Materials War.
In the same thread as NPO's DoW, Tevron, Deputy Assembly Chairman of GATO, posted RFI's DoW against Non Grata.
Peace Talks[]
In Late June, while Canik and RFI's leadership were discussing peace terms with the leadership of the COBRA Coalition, Canik approached Caustic and offered a quiet exit from the war. Caustic refused to leave the fight until COBRA, TIE, SS, Kash, and SRA were also granted peace. This peace offer was canceled after Non Grata officially declared war in late July.
On March 30th, 2020, after several weeks of peace deliberations, Non Grata admitted defeat to Roll for Initiative. Non Grata agreed to drop their exclusive claim of ownership over the yin and yang symbol. NG agreed to recognize FTW's ancestral colors as Maroon, Black, & White and never dispute FTW's right to these colors in any way, shape, or form.
