The Purple Civil War more commonly known as the WSA War, the WarpStorm Alliance War (often referred to by Legionnaires as the When Stupidity Attacks war) consisted of two sides: The Legion and her allies and the Warpstorm Alliance (WSA). Without explanation at the time (it later emerged that WSA was insulted by The Legion's Purple Sphere Senator's (1) use of the Sphere's message board for his personal blog) the WSA nuked several members of The Legion. The New Pacific Order, and the Global Alliance and Treaty Organization later joined the war against WSA honoring their agreements. The New Polar Order entered to back up the NPO. Needless to say the WSA didn't fare well...

This war is also known for having (at that point in time) the largest amount of nukes fired in any CN war. Many combatants didn't even bother launching conventional attacks and just used nuclear first strikes since WSA began the war with nuclear first strikes.

Following the defeat of the Warpstorm alliance, the leaders claims of rebuilding their alliance took hold with Warpstorm Alliance 2.0 which is supporting a more peaceful existence. WSA 2.0 only lasted a few weeks before dissolving.
