The Uralican Rugby Sevens Association (URSA) (Finn. Uralikan Rugby-7:n Liitto, Russ. Ураликская Регби-7-ский Союз) is the governing body of Rugby Sevens football in Uralica. The URSA Premiership and several regional competitions (mainly in the south of Uralica) are run by the organisation.

URSA Premiership[edit | edit source]

The URSA Premiership is set to make its debut in the spring of 2010. There are currently 20 clubs with professional licences, although this number is expected to grow. It is expected that a second division will be added for the 2011 season.

2010 Clubs[edit | edit source]

  • Permyak Mountain Men
  • Izhevsk Blizzard

Possible Branching Out[edit | edit source]

It has been speculated that, with the increasing popularity of rugby in all its forms within Uralica, URSA may expand from just Sevens to include full Union rugby, and possibly League rugby as well. Each rugby club would remain, but would have representation in all leagues and divisions resulting from this branching out.
