Global Wars[]
Wars encompassing most of the large alliances in the Cyberverse and over which the question of global Hegemony is fought.
Wars of Occupation[]
Wars in which one side is clearly inferior to the other, but is not granted or will not recognize peace for a long period of time, with the result that the superior party can be described as an "occupying army". Though the line between them can be blurred, wars of occupation differ from wars of conquest in that complete (or near complete) destruction of the inferior party is neither the goal nor the outcome.
Wars of Conquest[]
Wars in which one side is effectively but not utterly destroyed, with a small number of holdouts maintaining the defeated alliance affiliation for a long period of time after the initial defeat, often in peace mode. Though the line between them can be blurred, wars of conquest differ from wars of occupation in that the defeated alliance is permanently reduced to very small numbers, essentially being destroyed.
Ideological Wars[]
Wars fought over ideological differences rather than (or in addition to) a specific transgression. Many ideological alliance wars are fought between leftists and nationalists (or the Right), but other ideological conflicts are theoretically possible and have also existed, such as the Vox Populi Resistance Movement.
Associated Conflicts[]
Side conflicts associated in some way with a different, more major war. For example, the Genmay-BoTS War was a small conflict that was the catalyst for the much larger Unjust War.
