Tutela of Pallens is a tiny, under developed, and new nation at 5 days old with citizens primarily of Chinese ethnicity whose religion is Norse. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens enjoy freedom from high taxation and as a result tend to earn more money. The citizens of Tutela of Pallens work diligently to produce Iron and Gold as tradable resources for their nation. It is an aggressive country that some say has an itch for war. Tutela of Pallens is currently researching nuclear technology for the use of nuclear power plants but believes nuclear weapons should be banned. The military of Tutela of Pallens has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Tutela of Pallens does not allow any form of government protests. Its armed police forces work quickly at "dissolving" any and all government protests. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Tutela of Pallens detains individuals who participate in the slanderous comments about the government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. The government of Tutela of Pallens will trade with any other country regardless of ethical consequences.
War of the Zulus[]
On the 2/19/2008 Tutela of Pallens was brutally attacked by an unknown empire. It was only known days afterwards that the attacker was the 'Zulu Empire'. Before the government could respond, 4 waves of attacks occurred over a 2 day period. The security forces were depleated to just 2 men, and the country thrown into a state of anarchy. After the initial wave, the government quickly went to DEFCOM 1 and conscripted every available man, woman and child into the army. When the first of the 2 daily waves came Tutela of Pallens was victorious, fighitng off the raiders. However, into the second wave Pallens was once again dealt a crushing defeat.
Once again, the government conscripted every person they could to defend Spero, the capital city. It was now time to fight back, and the Pallens army sent a task force of 40 soldiers to attack the Zulu Empire itself. The attack back was break even, with a victory and a loss for both sides. The battle, however, had finally been brought to the enemy...
