The Rusty Umbrella Pact is an Optional Defense Pact signed between the Independent Republic of Orange Nations and Umbrella on 4 August 2011. The treaty was cancelled by IRON on 19 October 2012.
Text of the Treaty[]
Preamble[]
Preamble: We gather here on this rainy day (maybe not where you are) to witness the holy unio.. err yea here is the treaty.
Article I: Stopping The Rain[]
Umbrella and IRON agree to refrain from any aggressive actions toward one another. This includes military force, espionage, and any behaviour considered to be generally unfriendly.
Article II: Whispers Beneath The Metal Parasol[]
Umbrella and IRON agree to keep an open line of communication with regards to any information pertaining the security of the other be it internal or external.
Article III: Ending up like Georgi Markov[]
Should a third party take it upon themselves to shower either signatory in aggression, the other may choose to come to the defense of its partner. This is not a requirement but is encouraged should either party make such a request.
Article IV: When Iron Umbrellas Rust[]
Should either party wish to terminate this treaty, 72 hours of notice are required, during which time all articles of the treaty remain in full effect.
