Dark Lord Sauron of Land of Shadow is a former King of the Freehold of The Wolves.
Nation Information[]
The Land of Shadow is a large and ancient nation of more than 6,440 days old. Although citizens pay extremely high taxes, they enjoy first rate technology and marvel at all the astonishing advancements within their nation. The citizens of Land of Shadow work diligently to produce various resources for their nation and for exportation. The government gives aid to other nations when it can, but priorities lie within first and foremost. Land of Shadow believes fully in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The right to bear arms is a deeply ingrained right in its society and most citizens possess arms. While not an aggressive country, citizens are prepared to defend themselves and their friends through any means necessary.

Dark Lord Sauron (DLS), served as a Shaman for the Alpha Wolf for the Fellowship of the Wolves.
As Lord of Foreign Affairs[]
In March, 2018, only 5 months after Freehold of The Wolves was founded, there was a crisis in the government. Maegor, one of the alliance's Triumvirs unexpectedly resigned, leaving a whole in the government. Canik, in an effort to keep the alliance together, declared himself the King. His first act was to make Pjk11 (Taco) the Hand of the King and DLS the new Lord of Foreign Affairs.
As Regent[]
In October 2019, during the midst of the Yin-Yang War with Non Grata, Canik appointed DLS as the brand new Regent for FTW, then promptly took a vacation and left DLS in charge of the alliance in his abscense. 1 year later, in October 2020, Canik appointed DLS as the Regent full time and had Velocity replace him as the Lord of Foreign Affairs.
As King of Fire & Ice[]
DLS became the King of Fire & Ice on June 5th, 2021 when his predecessor, Canik, retired after more than 10+ years of leadership. DLS had served as Canik's chief advisor and confidante since the days of Fellowship of the Wolves. DLS quickly took the reigns and brought on Velocity as his Regent and Smitty as one of his high gov officers.
On November 15th, 2021, FTW, under DLS's leadership, broke 15,000,000 nation strength for the first time in the alliance's history.
On September 5th, 2021, DLS signed an ODoAP with Non Grata, solidifying the relationship between FTW and NG. This move was seen as massive because FTW and NG had fought each other for well over a year and did not trust each other after the war ended. This ODoAP was eventually upgraded to a MDoAP on December 19th, 2022.
On June 25th, 2022, FTW, under DLS's orders, and NATO declared war on the Friends of DOOM. This attack on DOOM by FTW and NATO eventually started a global war, the first global war since Doom War, 8 years prior.
On July 9th, 2022, FTW signed a MDoAP with Mostly Harmless Alliance, whom also retroactively activated the Defense clause of the treaty and declared war on Doom.
The war ended officially on December 25, 2022, exactly 6 months after the start of the war. The war ended with white peace across the board. The white peace ending to the war was seen as significant as FTW and the Roll For Damage coalition fought The Hegemony, whom most people in CN thought would force FTW and RFD to surrender.
After the war ended, FTW upgraded their treaties with NATO, NG, and Polaris; FTW also signed a MDoAP with Old Guard, who bravely joined FTW and attacked Doom alongside them.
On 1st of December, 2023, DLS retired as King of FTW and appointed Velocity, his long time protege as his replacement.
