Rationale for classifications
Global War: Any of the (currently) six conflicts generally refered to as global wars.
Major War: Any conflict with more than 500 nations on each side.
Medium War: Any conflict with more than 100 nations on each side.
Small War: Any conflict with less than 100 nations on either side.
Long War: Any conflict with a duration of 4 months or greater.
