Hegemony between the Karma War and UJW2[]

With the closing of the Second Unjust War, I think it's fair to begin discussing who should be listed here as a hegemonic force between the last two major wars. As someone who is less-than-involved in world politics, I'll leave this to others to discuss and decide upon, but I figure a discussion needs to be opened. Update Needed[]

Since the wars where Superfriends have ended up on the opposite side, the most recent hegemony is inaccurate and needs reconsidering. --LittleRena (talk • contribs) 05:23, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

Holy smokes I didn't even know this page existed :o But you bet it needs an update heh.—  RogalDorn

Disagree with stuff![]

(1) Gotta say I disagree with the first two hegemonies. GATO's 'hegemony' was pretty much dominated by NPO as can be seen by the wars fought throughout that era which were all more or less NPO beating the living daylights out of other alliances. If you really want a GATO hegemony to begin with then it should be like from the beginning till the first polar war, with NPO hegemony starting at that point.

(2) The second hegemony on the list, the CoaLUEtion is also questionable at best. Despite NPO losing the first great war on paper, the actual result was, at least from what I recall, a statistical draw. Further the CoaLUEtion had nowhere near the power between GW1 and GW2 to be a real hegemony. If anything the world was bipolar in the time between GW1 and GW2, with no real hegemony being present.

(3) Further the Initiative and Hegemony eras really should mention NPO as being in a leading position, which they currently don't seem to do.

(4) The SuperGrievances and DH/PB/CnG eras should mention MK in the same way.

(5) And lastly I wouldn't say that EQ was ever a hegemony. There wasn't ever enough unity for them to be a real hegemony. If anything I'd say this was the only time when the world was truly multi polar...

Anyways that's my opinion, use it or don't, just thought I'd weigh in :)

(1 and 2) I wasn't around for this stuff so I really have no idea.
(3-5) I totally agree with you. EQ was just a war coalition and should be noted for toppeling the DH/C&G hegemony but thats really all. and a new era needs to be added for whatever has been going on since EQ. —  RogalDorn   21:23, November 17, 2014 (UTC)
