The Sunshine Address was a speech made by Xavier M. Pitag or May 17,2011. Pitag clearly expressed his want of peace. To convince the Sunshiners to protect the peace, he mentioned how the Bobogoobo military managed to stay out of the conflicts.

Today, the United States of JBR and United Duchies of Central Kingdom were deliberately attacked by the United Pacific Aligned Coalition. The Deltoran Republic was attacked yesterday by UPAC as well. UPAC has gained more and more power each day and quickly changing the map of South America. Mexico was attacked today and joined the war on the Sunshine Treaty Organization Pact's defense. Thanks to the Prussian Empire's hosting of the Quarthe War Summit, I believe we can all put an end to this horrific war as soon as possible.

Cuba has declared war on the Deltoran Republic and shows that we cannot be too confident that we will win with no thought. The United States of JBR is losing ground due to its involvement with previous wars and the Union of Midway has exhibited such a vulnerability as well. The United Duchies of Central Kingdom is also fairly weak; it was formed last April and only has a military with 20,000 strong (equivalent to the minimum guess of the Midwayan Soviet Federative Socialist Republic's Red Front military). Although both the Prussian and Pacific Empires are by far the strongest in military, economic, and territorial strength, we must remind all that when one falls, we may all fall. We must keep in mind that this is not for personal gain rather, this war is a war to stop all wars from occurring in the future. Now of course there will be another one in the future unfortunately--war is almost inevitable--but we must always look for peace. I call for an ally to help the other and the ally to help the enemy.

We cannot stand as a co-existing community of nations without a strong backbone of peace, justice, and prosperity. We can depend on our military strengths but as exhibited by past countries, you cannot depend on it wholly. Superpowers can only achieve their status in the long-term by holding strong economic and political ties and maintaining healthy diplomatic relationships with others. So this war will not be fought for power. It will be fought for a peace that shall shine an example to others.

I am from Bobogoobo as you know. My country has not participated in any wars that most of our STOP signatories have gone through. I commemorate that--a shock to some who may read this. But the reason is is because Bobogoobo has just an excellent military system as do its Prussian and Pacific counterparts but has maintained a thing many of us long for: neutrality and peace. Now neutrality is not necessarily a good thing but it does most certainly show that a country can maintain peace without involvement of conflicts. And a long-term peace has been achieved by Bobogoobo. Such a shining example should be followed. Yes we need a strong military. But we need to keep order and remain peaceful; even in times of conflict. But I say to you, not all wars should be cause you to stay neutral. Nay. I believe though peace is desirable, sometimes, the war is for a cause. And because this war is a call for friendship, bond, and honor. I hope other STOP nations including Bobogoobo can at least provide some assistance to our men and women who fight bravely for justice, liberty, and happiness for all.

In this, though I have no military powers...

I encourage all nations to fight for a cause...

And fight for victory...

But most importantly...

Peace.
