|Socialistic Jamalution Treaty|
The Socialistic Jamalution Treaty was an optional defense pact between the Jamahiriya and the International, announced on 23 November 2008 between JAMA and the Socialistic Empire. Upon -SE-'s merger into INT, the treaty transferred to the new alliance. The treaty was cancelled on 7 October 2009 bt the International.
Text of the Treaty Edit
The alliances of Socialistic Empire (SE) and the Jamahiriya (JAMA) hereby agree to solidify their ties in current optional defense pact.
Article 1: Non Aggression Edit
All forms of in-game aggression between the members of SE and JAMA are deemed illegal. This includes, but is not limited to, sanctions, war declarations, aiding nations at war with either alliance, and all forms of espionage, whether in-game or out. Publical flaming of the opposite parties on the Open World Forum is not tolerated, any disagreements or queries are expected to be sttled in private. Should SE or JAMA feel a member of either alliance has broken these terms, a cessation in hostilities is to be sought and, if judged necessary, reparations are to be paid.
Article 2: Comradeship and Respect Edit
Both JAMA and SE recognise the foundations of comradeship and respect between the two parties, united by Ideology, Comradeship and by amity for the other, and recognise their duty to improve relations and get to know each other better, for the betterment of the CN left.
Article 3: Communication Edit
Both SE and JAMA pledge to keep their lines of communication open to the other. Diplomats are expected to sign on the other alliances forums, where they will be treated in spirit of comradeship.
Article 4: Information Edit
Both JAMA and SE agree that, should one party come into possession of information concerning the safety or standing of the other by any means, in game or out, they are bound to share it with the other party via private channels.
Article 4: Optional Defense Edit
SE and JAMA agree to be bound together in times of war and peace. During wartime either alliance may assist or request assistance from the other by economic or military means, but this is not mandatory and is not expected to be treated as such.1
Article 5: Termination Edit
A breach of any of the terms listed above is grounds for this treatys termination, but is not required. Either party may choose to terminate this ODP for any reason. Both parties have forty-eight (48) hours after the declaration of either partys desire for the treatys cancellation before this treaty will cease to be in effect. All terms within will continue up until that deadline.
