Rossiya is currently located in western Russia, near the border of Estonia.
History of Rossiya[]
Rossiya was created on the 29th of April in 2008 from the remnants of tribes living in the wilds of western Russia after they had been devastated by a massive plague of AIDS. However a cure was discovered by Dr. Vonstagunstein, and was administered to the remaining villagers. He united them and formed what has been called the earliest iteration of Rossiya. However, following his assumption of power, he was assassinated by agents of the current ruler, General Kovalenko. After the death of Dr. Vonstagunstein, General Kovalenko seized power in a daring coup, utilizing a platoon of soldiers armed only with barbed wire and land mines. Rossiya is still undergoing the throes of revolution, and is in a state of Transitional government until a more permanent system of control can be established.

Rossiya is a small, under developed, and young nation at 25 days old with citizens primarily of Russian ethnicity whose religion is Buddhism. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens pay moderately high tax rates and they are somewhat unhappy in their work environments as a result. The citizens of Rossiya work diligently to produce Marble and Pigs as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. Rossiya is currently researching nuclear technology for the use of nuclear power plants but believes nuclear weapons should be banned. The military of Rossiya has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Rossiya allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Rossiya believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Rossiya will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.
