War between Prototype and Armpit Platoon commenced on April 7, 2013, sparked by a tech raid by a member of Armpit Platoon against Jason8 of Prototype. Armpit Platoon maintained the attack was against a member that was considered to be inactive. Diplomacy regarding reparations reached an impasse, despite the fact that the two alliances had previously enjoyed an amicable tech dealing relationship. The Prototype declaration of war also included a recognition of hostilities against the alliance Army of One.

War ended on April 15, 2013 with Kashmir feeling their mission had been accomplished.

On April 22, 2013, a week after cessation of hostilities, the Sword Alliance declared war on both Armpit Platoon and Army of One.

Following the destruction of Army of One, many of their members later joined Prototype due to friendships created during the war.
