Prince Albert (born December 31, 1972) is a German politician and current Minister of State Affairs in the German Empire. On November 22 2010, Albert ran as a non-partisan candidate for Reichstag Senator in the first national election held in months. On November 25th he was elected and sworn in as Reichstag Senator having more then 20% of the national vote. He was reelected for a second term on December 28th, 2010. On January 1st, 2011 he was appointed and sworn in as Vice-Chancellor by the current Chancellor Mark Thomas. After the departure of Chancellor Mark Thomas, Albert assumed the role as acting Chancellor. On January 25th, After the removal of Franz Joseph I as Kaiser, an election was soon held for a permanent Kaiser to take up the throne. After a close election, Albert received a majority vote and was crowned Emperor and Kaiser of the German Empire, on January 28th.
