The Prime Minister of Jaduka is the leader of the Jadukastag and one of two official heads of states. The current prime minister is Dmitry Oblastikov.

Position and Power as Prime Minister[]

In Relation to the Jadukastag[]

The Prime Minister holds much power within the Jadukastag. Besides also being a representation minister to his or her Jadukastat, the Prime Minister is able to execute various policies without approval of the Jadukastag. For example, the Prime Minister is able to send troops overseas for a maximum time of one week before the Jadukastag is able to override the decision.

The Jadukastag can, however, remove the Prime Minister from office with a 50% vote of no confidence. A successor must be named on the same day.

Currently, the Prime Minister holds two votes in the Jadukastag allowing his or her Jadukastat one more vote than the others. With such a small number of Jadukastats and representatives (numbered at 6 and 12, respectively) the Prime Minister and his Jadukastat tend to dominate Jadukastag politics. Despite the extra vote, the Prime Minister may not vote in his own vote of no confidence.

In Relation to the King[]

The Prime Minister has near equal power to the King. Both officials can execute some policies without Jadukastag approval and each official can override the other. Should this happen, if the policy executor would like the policy passed it is presented to the Jadukastag for a vote.

When the Jadukastag votes for a Prime Minister, he or she must be approved by the King. This, however, has come under fire. This policy gives the King and Prime Minister, together, absolute power over the country.
