The President of the Commonwealth of San Stravinsky, officially the Citizen Electoral Governing President of the People and Parliament of the Krytocratic Commonwealth of San Stravinsky or known as in the dependencies, The Premier of the Mainlands is the Head of Government and Chief of State for San Stravinsky. The position is currently held by Elijah Lutz. The President is one of four executive national positions along with the equally powerful Chancellor and the less powerful Prime Minister and Vice President.

Authority[]

The President is the highest ranking citizen in the entire nation of San Stravinsky, though it has differing authority.

District Authority[]

The President is viewed higher than any other government official. They have the authority to withdraw a law or create a law in the city, county, or district. They also have the authority to assume control of a district for a three day period as Presiding Governor. Though he is not seen as a differential figure in the law. They can be fined, arrested, and charged as a normal citizen for any crime committed. They authorities above were created in the National Constitution 2010 v.5 by Socialist Democracy Party member as well as Vice President of San Stravinsky Ethan Goldcamp.

Dependency Authority[]

According to the Union of San Stravinsky Dependencies Constitution, the President is viewed as the dictator, or Premier, of the dependent governments. They are entitled to do anything and everything. President Lutz, however, does not appreciate that authority and has refused to acknowledge it.

Becoming the President[]

In order to become the President, you must follow the Line of Election, and the requirements. To be the President, you must be:

  • At least 13 years old
  • Living in the Country and its Predecessors for over 10 years
  • A Natural Born Citizen of San Stravinsky, Wellow, Baja, and the predecessors.

They must also go through a long line of election processes. The process is:

  • Elected as the District Nomination for President
  • Elected as the District Commonwealth President Nomination (losers of this election becomes District Governor)
  • Elected as one of two National Presidential Nominees (Losers become Commonwealth Commissioner)
  • Elected as the National President (Loser becomes any lower political office of their choosing; i.e. Commissioner, Governor, Mayor, etc.)

Acting Presidency[]

There have been three times where an Acting President was needed. In these cases, the Chancellor or Vice President is chosen as the President. They have been:

  • Chancellor Benjamin Berman (April 20, 2010 - April 21, 2010) (May 15, 2010 - May 17, 2010)
  • Vice President Ethan Goldcamp (June 29, 2010 - July 1, 2010)
