The Borat Empire is a large sized, superbly developed, and ancient nation at 1101 days old with citizens primarily of Arab ethnicity whose religion is Islam. Its technology is first rate and its citizens marvel at the astonishing advancements within their nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of The Borat Empire work diligently to produce Fish and Gems as tradable resources for their nation. The government has no definite position on foreign affairs at this time. It believes nuclear weapons are necessary for the security of its people. Plans are on the way within The Borat Empire to open new rehabilitation centers across the nation and educate its citizens of the dangers of drug use. The Borat Empire has no definite position on domestic issues concerning government protests in the country at this time. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. The Borat Empire has no definite position on free speech. The Borat Empire has no definite foreign aid at this time. The Borat Empire has no definite position on trade relations.
New Pacific Order[]
Philosopher joined the New Pacific Order on November 10, 2006, after being recruited by NPO members on the main CN forums. His first position in the Order was Ambassador to CIS, filling a vacancy within the Diplomatic Corps. He viewed this as an important first step for him within the Order, as it provided him an opportunity to help improve relations with the alliance to the extent that they joined the World Unity Treaty when it was originally formed. His work building relations with CIS helped bring them in as a signatory and allowed him to begin building a name for himself within the upper echelons of NPO leadership. After that, he was appointed Beta Lieutenant in MilCom and was elected to the Alliance Council at the beginning of January 2007. He was re-elected in February and then appointed Imperial Officer of Foreign Affairs during the reforms shortly thereafter. For a long period of time he was the only Imperial Officer of Foreign Affairs, and managed a lot of the Order's diplomatic efforts himself. He remained incredibly active in that capacity until the beginning of June, when RL declared war upon his free time. Currently, he tends to give advice or get involved in small ways, but remains within a perpetual state of semi-retirement.
Even within his state of semi-retirement, Philosopher remains a steadfast servant of the Order. He continues to help guide Pacifica through the tumultuous world of inter-alliance affairs. The NPO stands where it is today, in Philosopher's words an "eternal beacon of order, excellence, and stability," because of the unceasing dedication of men and woman like himself.
