The newly formed Philippine Air Force started on July 30, 2010, under the Republic Act 6782 or the Strategic Defense Act of the Philippines. It's formed by 1500 Personnel, including 500 Officers.

Primary Purpose[]

The primary purpose of the Philippine Air Force is to provide homeland security, as well as cyberspace protection of its own cyber infrastructure during peacetime, and aggressive response to threats during times of war.
