The People's Socialist Party of the Republic of Jerna is the largest political party in the People's Assembly of the Republic of Jerna, holding 48 out of 97 seats in the People's Assembly and governing with the support of the Environmentalist Party of Jerna.
The headquarters of the PSPRJ are currently in the Capitol Building in Jerna City, the capital of the Republic of Jerna.
The People's Socialist Party advocates a strong central government, with full government ownership of all means of production, thus negating the need for income tax of any kind.
Prior to the Jernan Civil War and their subsequent outlawing, the primary opposition party to the People's Socialist Party was the Nationalist Party of Jerna. Afterward, the primary opposition party became the Christian Democratic Party of Jerna.
