Operation Gloria Romanorum[]
Operation Gloria Romanorum was a military Operation conducted by lower Byzantine Members against EvilPurpleMonkey for rogue activities against the Byzantine Empire and Black November. The attacks commenced on July 1st, just before reset; and before the second half of the blitz could take place EvilPurpleMonkey's military was in total ruin. With the enemy's nation in anarchy, the Byzantine Empire began to process of dragging EvilPurpleMonkey into the ZI Club.
Background[]
The Entire problem arrose when information was leaked to the Byzantine Empire that EvilPurpleMonkey was planning to gather a coalition against the Byzantine Empire out of 'bloodlust.' The Byzantine Empire quickly began to prepare for a long and drawn out conflict against this coalition. Initially high-ranking Byzantine members believed launching Operation Gloria Romanorum quickly. But when information came that Black November, an alliance of equal strength as the Byzantine Empire, was also in on the plot, planning was changed to an all out conflict between the Byzantine Empire and her allies and Black November. Eventually, on the eve of the attack Byzantine leadership was unsure whether an attack was the right thing to do. Instead, Black November and the Byzantine Empire exchanged information, and quickly realized that out of paranoia both alliances had been tricked into thinking the other was going to attack them. With the inter-alliance war avoided, the only problem facing the Byzantine Empire was the continued existance of EvilPurpleMonkey.
The Attacks[]
On July 1st, a few minutes before reset, The Empire of Trebizond and Wendaria blitzed into Congelé. Before the second rounds of attacks, EvilPurpleMonkey's nation was already in anarchy. Even so the two nations were told to continue the attacks. On July 2nd, The Empire of Spain joined the fight, and Congelé tried desperately to recover from the Byzantine Blitz but was unable to. With the nation strength of Congelé down to a third of its original strength, it was obvious that the attacks would not have to last very long, and that soon Congelé would be no more than a pile of ash and ruin.
Occupation[]
With the astounding success and organization of Byzantine Troops, the occupation and systematic deconstruction of Congelé. The Byzantine Empire declared, that for crimes against the Empire and for Rogue Activity, the EvilPurpleMonkey be sentanced to the Zero Infrastructure Club.
Retaliation[]
EvilPurpleMonkey attempted a counter-attack against all three attacking Byzantine Nations, but failed horribly. Minor damage was reported by Byzantine members, and at this point the Byzantine government was willing to leave the rogue to his own devices, the wars are set to expire July 8th, and will not be renewed.
