NoR Way Out started on 18 September 2024 when Doom Squad (DS), Post Grunge Supergroup (PGS), and the Madlads Union (MU) declared war on Nordreich (2nd) (NoR) citing their failure to honor their treaty with the Union of Communist Republics during the War of the Communists & Wolves.

NoR Way Out is the first global war since BiPolar 2: Electron's Boogaloo in 2022.

Background[]

During the War of the Communists & Wolves, the Union of Communist Republics called their allies to assist them in various capacities against The Wolves. Nordreich failed to honor their agreement and the war continued to its eventual conclusion on 13 September 2023. Not long after, due to a contested election in response to the aftermath of that war, Madlads Union splintered from UCR and formed. Then, they began building a coalition to enact their revenge.

The war was also spurred by a range of increasing tensions between the 3 major blocs at the time: Shenanigans, Novus Ordo Seclorum, and Roll For Initiative.

18th of September - DS, PGS, & MU declare war on NoR.
19th of September - New Polar Order (Polar) declare war on DS, PGS, & MU in defense of NoR.
2nd of October - Freehold of the Wolves (FTW) declares war on DS, activating Article V of Fimbulwinter, alongside Polar.
6th of October - DS, PGS, & MU declares war on RIA over secret aid to NoR. CLAWS declares war on RIA in defense of DS & PGS. CLAWS declares war on Polar in defense of DS & PGS. Global Alliance and Treaty Organization (GATO) declares war on Polar in defense of DS, PGS, & MU.
7th of October - Federated Allied Independence League (FAIL) declares war on GATO in defense of Polar.
12th of October - Mostly Harmless Alliance declares war on DS, PGS, & MU in defense of RIA. FTW declares war on CLAWS & GATO in defense of Polar.
13th of October - The Dark Templar (DT) declares war on MHA in defense of DS, PGS, & MU. Federation of Armed Nations (FAN) declares war on DS. In the DoW thread, FAN is granted Letters of Marque and Reprisal by Electron Sponge, on behalf of the Imperial Government of Polar. Farkistan (Fark) declares war on DS, PGS, & MU in defense of Polar, RIA, & MHA. Nuclear Proliferation League (NPL) declares war on DS, PGS, & MU.
17th of October - North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) declares war on DT in defense of MHA.
18th of October - DOOMBIRD DOOMCAVE (DBDC) declares war on NATO & TIO in defense of DT. DT & Viridian Entente (VE) declare war on Fark in defense of DS, PGS, & MU, and in support of DT respectively.
19th of October - Argent (Argent) declares war on NPL in defense of DS & PGS. Sparta (Sparta) declares war on CLAWS in support of FTW.
23rd of October - New Pacific Order (NPO) declares war on NATO in defense of DT. Non Grata (NG) declares war on NPO in defense of NATO.
2nd of November - FAN declares war on VE.
8th of November - Knights of the Round Table (KoRT) declares war on CCC in defense of the NPO.
18th of November - Argent declares war on MHA in defense of DS and PGS.
20th of November - Disciples of Duckroll (DoD) declares war on NATO and NG in defense of NPO.
20th of November - Avalanche declares war on DS and PGS in support of NpO.
20th of November - DBDC declares war on Avalanche in defense of DS.
2nd of December - DT declares war on NoR in support of MU.
23rd of December - DT declares war on FAN in defense of VE.

2025[]

17th of January - NG recognizes hostilities with Orange Defense Network (ODN) who attacked NG without declaration in defense of NPO.
8th of February - A peace deal is reached: Argent, CLAWS, DBDC, DoD, DS, DT, GATO, GLoF, IRON, KoRT, LSF, MU, NPO, ODN, PGS, and VE agree to a state of white peace with Avalanche, CCC, FAIL, FAN, Fark, FTW, MHA, NATO, NG, NPL, NpO, RIA, Sparta, and TIO. The Wolves hereby enter a state of white peace with IRON and NATO. Nordreich admits defeat to MU, DS, PGS, LSF, and DT.
