The campus of MIT in Cambridge
The Mercton Institute of Technology or MIT is an old educational institution in J Andres. Originally founded in Cambridge as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1861, the College was renamed after Josef Mercton after J Andres territory expanded into the region in the early 1980s. The college has always been located in the village of Cambridge; however, in 2112, Cambridge was incorporated into Boston directly. Most institution documents still refer to its location as in Cambridge. MIT is the premier science and engineering school in J Andres.
