The Mancunian Coup was an event in Mancunian Caropsgrad, which saw the rise to power of the Utopian Community and the Liberalian Diaspora in the country. Following the collapse of Liberalia shortly after the Great War, Benedicto Claro, with his government and followers, abandoned Bahía Esmeralda and returned to his home city of Manchester. Fermenting dissent, the Liberalians managed to launch a small armed coup in the city and seize power there, establishing the Republic of Mancunian Caropsgrad.
