Freshly wrought from the clutches of a mercilous government a group of refugees emerged from a country once known as Luthoria. Seeking a new home, they set out upon a the empty land, under a banner of cooperation in the Western Region just outside Kalgo Province.
Malakai, once a poor farmer, had known nothing but hardship before the Novak Revolt. He made his life off the land since he was a boy. Shortly after entering the wilderness, Amon Tobor, his father and leader, was killed by a band of raiders. This loss, combined with the stress of his peoples' needs, nearly drove him to take his own life. Harboring the memory of his father and donning the coat his father wore he took command and carried his wayward group further into the unknown.

Traveling across the desert of Hodef, outside the forests of Joqot, they arrived with the setting sun on February 4, 2011. There cloaked with a new sense of hope and amid a seemingly hostile mountainous range, untouched by the Age of Expansion, they laid the foundation for a new nation. They tilled the land and built their homes. They formed a new governing council and began expanding. The nation of Zandilik was born. Malakai now set upon the throne as King ushed in an Age of Prosperity where he rules with a firm yet wise hand.
