Kirovo-Chepetsk (Finn. Kepsikirovo) is a Uralican city, and the county seat of Kirovski Rayon. Although it is quite close to Kirov, it is still officially considered a separate entity. The Kirovo-Chepetsk Industrial Park is not actually located in the city proper, but rather exactly halfway between the city and the Kirov municipality of Novovyatsk, near the Vyatka Bridge. It sits in a strategic position at the divergence of the Vyatka and Chapetsk Rivers. However, it is not particularly close to any major highways, meaning that it ended up being connected to the Intra-Uralican Highway Network by Highway UH-30A.

The main industries of Kirovo-Chepetsk are ferrous metallurgy and appliance manufacturing, with smaller food production, small consumer-goods, and hi-tech industries residing in the city as well.

Culture[edit | edit source]

Most major Uralican centres, unlike the very multicultural Syktyvkar and Kirov, have two or three predominant Tribes. In the case of Kirovo-Chepetsk, these are the Udmurts and the Maris, with minorities of Russians, Mennonites, Ob Ugrics, and Mordvins.

There are no particularly tall buildings in Kirovo-Chepetsk itself, meaning that one can see the tallest buildings of the aforementioned Industrial Park with relative ease. The largest building there to date is the Kirovo-Chepetsk Community Centre, which is often the home of local musical performances.
