The Charter of Kashmir
"What Is and What Should Never Be"

Kashmir - founded on the principles of transparency, group involvement, and open source thinking, brought together by these principles and a love of rock and roll - enacts this Charter outlining its structure and governance.

Article I. Membership

Section One.

Membership to Kashmir can be attained by completing a Q&A lasting no less than 72 hours. The applicant may ascend the Stairway to Heaven provided no member has raised an objection. The King can waive the Q&A period or deny the request under extenuating circumstances. Membership can be terminated at the King and the Prince’s discretion.

Section Two.

Senior members will be afforded the honorary title of Elder.

Article II. Government

Section One. The King

His Majesty the King of Kashmir is the head of state for Kashmir and is responsible for the direction of the alliance as well as oversight of the High Elders. Any High Elder no longer capable of performing the duties required of their position will be removed and replaced by the King and the Prince.

Section Two. The Prince

His Highness the Prince of Kashmir is the second-in-command of Kashmir and highest adviser to the King. The Prince acts as head of state in the King’s absence when expressly granted the authority to do so and is the King’s natural successor.

Section Three. The High Elders

The King and the Prince will ensure proper administration of Kashmir via the High Elders. Their exact number and duties will be defined internally and will be tailored to the demands of Kashmir at any given time.

Article III. Liner Notes

Liner Notes is the internal document outlining policy and procedures. Liner Notes can be amended by the King once it’s been disclosed to and discussed by membership. Any member may propose a change to the Liner Notes.

Article IV. Amendments

The Charter can be amended by the King once it’s been disclosed to and discussed by membership. Any member may propose an amendment to the Charter.
