Kashmir is a Brown team alliance that is composed of bad ass groovy dudes, man.
Kashmir believes strongly in the principles of transparency, group involvement, and open source thinking. Internally, they have no secret forums or back channels which allows for every member to be as involved as he or she sees fit. While the government is absolute in their authority, they serve primarily as administrators instead of being the driving force of the alliance; Kashmir's membership is the driving force behind direction and policy. These principles, in addition to their strong love of Led Zeppelin and rock and roll, unite them under the banner of Kashmir.

History
2013
Kashmir was originally founded on the Black team on November 26, 2012 as Prototype by SirWilliam, BloodFury, Lex Quintus, mattski133, denkimon, Caliph, Jonathan Brookbank, and Helvetica. The alliance's name was changed to Kashmir on May 1, 2013.
Shortly after the rebranding, Kashmir introduced Kashmiri Co-Prosperity, the document which would guide its foreign affairs for more than a year.
Kashmir saw its first major conflict later in the year, beginning on November 5, declaring on both TOP and Kaskus in defense of NSO (Kaskus, albeit, indirectly). Two days later Kashmir was in turn declared on by SRA, allies of Kaskus's. White peace was agreed on by Kashmir and its allies and Kaskus and SRA on December 14; war with TOP would wage into the new year.

International Relations
On May 17, 2013, Kashmir announced to the Open World Forum Kashmiri Co-Prosperity in which Kashmir asserted its right to intervene militarily, economically, or otherwise based solely on the grounds of friendship. The New Sith Order, DoomSquad, The Javahouse League, and Riot Society became privy to co-prosperity.
The Kashmiri Co-Prosperity document was the public manifestation of private gentleman's agreements between Kashmir and the individual parties. Other than the announcement defining what Co-Prosperity entails, Kashmir remained paperless and did not sign treaties of any kind.
On July 27, 2014, Kashmir announced to the Open World Forum the disbandment of Kashmiri Co-Prosperity, which left Kashmir with no treaties or formal agreements of any kind.
Kashmir has since, however, transitioned from complete to partial paperlessness by signing on to the Magnum Opus bloc. Additionally, Kashmir has stated an intent to protect other alliances, presently COBRA and whatever master hakai is calling his alliance.
