The Honor system of the Union of Midway originated in January 2011, on the first anniversary of the end of the Yami War. It is divided into two main types, Military Awards and Civilian Awards. Military Awards can only be awarded to Midwayan citizens that serve/served the military of the Union of Midway. Civilian Awards can be awarded to anyone that has been in the Union of Midway at least once.

Distinguishing oneself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his/her own life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in combat against a enemy of the Union of Midway.

Gallantry in action against an enemy of the Union of Midway.

Star of Bravery
Heroic or meritorious achievement or service.

Purple Heart
Being injured or killed in any action against a enemy of the Union of Midway or as a result of an act by an enemy of any such opposing forces.
