Nation Information[]

Hogue-adishu is a tiny, under developed, and young nation with citizens primarily of Caucasian ethnicity whose religion is Christianity.

It is often considered a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a "third-world nation." Its citizens enjoy freedom from high taxation and as a result tend to earn more money.

The citizens of Hogue-adishu work diligently to produce wheat and swine as tradable resources for their nation. As a matter of fact, the name "Hogue" is an Old English word for a caretaker and breeder of hogs.

The government has no definite position on foreign affairs at this time. When it comes to nuclear weapons Hogue-adishu has no definite position and is therefore considered opposed to them. The military of Hogue-adishu has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers.

Hogue-adishu allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers.

It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first.

Hogue-adishu believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first.

Hogue-adishu will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

History[]

The area which comprises the Dominion of Hogue-adishu was originally settled by fleeing Gypsies. Little is known from this period, due to the highly mobile society and lack of centralized records-keeping.

Later, the area was influenced by a widespread Wesleyan revival as missionaries came in droves to the North Texas colony. Converts established a tribal republic.

Due to hardships on the frontier and cultural identification with Ancient Israel as recorded in the Bible, the people began search for a larger nation of which to be a part. Hogue-adishu joined with The CROWN soon after its founding.
