The Greater German Reich (German: Großdeutsches Reich) is a country in western-central Europe. It is a highly centralized state and its largest city is Berlin. The Reich covers an area of 633,786 km2 and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. With 69,3 million inhabitants, it is one of the most populous states in Europe. It is a major economic and political power on the European continent and a leader in many cultural, theoretical and technical fields.
The country is most infamous for its involvement in World War II under Adolf Hitler (Führer and Reichskanzler 1933 to 1945) and for the war crimes the Wehrmacht committed during the war. After the peace treaty was signed in 1946, the NSDAP (Nazi-party) negotiated itself to remain in power in Germany, and after the devastating defeat in World War II and the suicide of Adolf Hitler the Nazi government has committed itself to build a strong Germany not through military efforts but through a strong economic influence.
After the Allied military occupation ended in 1950 the country enjoyed great economic growth in the 50's all the way to the 90's when the country was struck by a severe economic depression. However by 1999 the economy has recovered and increased economic liberty has made the country's economy see a renewed period of economic growth.
Since 2006 the country is led by Joseph Hitler, great-grand-nephew of former dictator Adolf Hitler. He is also like his predecessors titled Führer & Reichskanzler. In 2011 the first elections since 1933 was held, and the National Socialist German Worker's Party (NSDAP/Nazi-party) won a landslide victory with 82,6% of the vote.

National symbols[]
The state symbols include the German eagle and the National Socialist-party symbol, the swaztika, in the national coat-of-arms. The national flag was adopted in 1955, replacing the war time red swastika-flag.
The country has one official national anthem and one unofficial. The official anthem as stated in the constitution is the Deutschlandlied", composed by Joseph Haydn in 1797. The second, unofficial piece, is the Horst Wessel-lied, the semi-official anthem of the Nazi-party.
The lyrics of the Deutschlandlied (the two verses that are officially part of the anthem):
Deutschland, Deutschland über alles,
Über alles in der Welt,
Wenn es stets zu Schutz und Trutze
Brüderlich zusammenhält.
Von der Maas bis an die Memel,
Von der Etsch bis an den Belt,
Deutschland, Deutschland über alles,
Über alles in der Welt!
Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Für das deutsche Vaterland!
Danach lasst uns alle streben
Brüderlich mit Herz und Hand!
Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit
Sind des Glückes Unterpfand;
Blüh' im Glanze dieses Glückes,
Blühe, deutsches Vaterland!
The Horst Wessel-lied is usually played without lyrics.
