Code of Conduct Edit

The following rules apply to all visitors/users (GPA members and non-GPA members) of the public GPA Forums and public IRC Channel.

  1. All posting/discussion in GPA public areas must be neutral (when in relation to CyberNations politics, alliances, players, etc.).
  2. Language, discussion and linked content should be suitable for a PG audience.
  3. Users must be treated with respect.
  4. Do not flame or bait other users.
  5. Do not impersonate other users.
  6. Do not use/display offensive nicknames.
  7. Do not link to inappropriate or offensive material (i.e. pornography, illegal downloads, etc.).
  8. No spamming.


Punishment for Breaking the Rules: ForumsEdit

Moderators who find users breaking the rules may elect to:

  • Warn the user that they are breaking the rules (either in the thread, or via a private message).
  • Edit a user's post to remove the offending content.
  • Temporarily ban the offending user from viewing and/or posting on the forums.
  • Permanently ban the offending user from viewing and/or posting on the forums.

Moderators are entitled to use their own discretion as to which punishment or combination of punishments they will serve to an individual. Users must comply with the requests of the Moderator.

If you do not agree with the actions of a Moderator, you may make an Administrative Complaint, however, until such time that your complaint is reviewed, you are still expected to comply with the requests of the Moderator.


Punishment for Breaking the Rules: IRCEdit

Moderators who find users breaking the rules may elect to:

  • Warn the user that they are breaking the rules (either in the channel, or via query).
  • Kick the offending user from the channel.
  • Temporarily ban the offending user from the channel.
  • Permanently ban the offending user from the channel.

Moderators are entitled to use their own discretion as to which punishment or combination of punishments they will serve to an individual. Users must comply with the requests of the Moderator.

If you do not agree with the actions of a Moderator, you may make an Administrative Complaint, however, until such time that your complaint is reviewed, you are still expected to comply with the requests of the Moderator.


Administrative ComplaintsEdit

If you disagree with a Moderator's actions, you may register an Administrative Complaint at the following location: here . NOTE: You are only able to register an Administrative Complaint on behalf of yourself, not another user.

If you have been banned from posting on the forums, and are unable to register your complaint you can send a personal message to either a Cabinet member, CIO or DCIO if available, or Head Moderator, and they will register your complaint.
