Book of the Tempter

Chapter 1[]

And so it came to pass that Ruben, the incarnation of evil came into the sphere and began to bring harm to the people he found there. He used the powers of the mods for evil. He was at one time a great leader in his own rite, but he began to believe in his won power and to forget the mods.

The mods had blessed Ruben in the beginning for his ability to lead, blessed him with a great alliance to lead and form in his own image, the ODS.

Ruben used the mods to destroy the very lifeblood of maroon, the spahm. He proclaimed the spahm to be evil and petitioned the mods to destroy it. The mods heeded his request for order and closed the gates to spam for a time.

Chapter 2[]

However, the citizens of maroon cried out to the mods, and Smith came to their aide, for in those days he was still their one saviour. He silenced Ruben and declared him to be a false teacher.

And so maroon turned their back on Ruben and began to blame him for all of the evils on their fair land. Several powerful marooners even began to speak of killing him.

And so it happened that Masta Shake, a quiet lurker in the land, struck from the night, nearly killing Ruben. However, his supporters spoke up in a surge of fury and the people rallied around the Tempter.

Chapter 3[]

It was in these days that the Anti-Mod incarnated himself within Ruben and he truly became evil. He began to spy within the major alliances and tempt others to follow in his footsteps.

However, the Prophet denounced him as a false teacher and began to speak out against his evils, and he was welcomed by the people of all nations, not just maroon.

Leaders of rival religions joined in the attack on Ruben's character until the final blow was sealed by Zandra.

It came to pass that many powerful people attacked Ruben and finally managed to strike him down to create the Great Era. The Era would last for many months, but it is forever darkened by the prophecy that the Anti-Mod will someday come again, in another form.
