Events Leading up to the War[]
This war has possibly been in the making since the Moldavi Rebellion, before the New Polar Order left the World Unity Treaty.
The NpO-BoTS Protectorate Treaty[]
Around or just before the Moldavi Rebellion, the NpO became the protector of the Brotherhood of The Storm while it was still in the WUT. Though not a direct cause, it is significant because, due to WUT policy, the NpO would have had to have been informed of the coming conflict between Genmay and BoTS, thus making the protectorate treaty speculated evidence of a WUT-UJP schism.
BoTS' Demands and Genmay's Casus Belli[]
According to [M], BoTS had an undisclosed disagreement with [M], leading BoTS to demand a reparation. Flaming and insults from both sides ensued. BoTS banned the [M] diplomat from their forum. BoTS responded with Tech-Raids upon [M] nations. BoTS then threatened retribution from the NpO. [M] responded with a Declaration of War upon BoTS, despite their protectorate status with the NpO.

September 8, 2007 - Genmay Declares War upon the Brotherhood of The Storm, citing that they wished to "teach them a lesson".
September 9, 2007 - [M] posts Surrender Terms for BoTS.
September 9, 2007 - BoTS Rejects Genmay's Surrender Terms, while stating their own surrender terms for [M].
