The Fortaleza Federations or the Federação de Fortaleza is a South American nation.
Geography[]
Fortaleza is a significant nation which contains the Amazon Rainforest. The nation consists of Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and most of Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela.
History[]
Prior to the Grand Mexican War, South America was ruled primarily by the Aurelian Empire. The Empire was vast and centered on the capital city of Aurelia. Although the Empire was not a combatant in the war, Aurelia and all other major cities in South America will leveled in the nuclear aftermath, which made the empire collapse.
In the years that followed, a federal republic gained strength in the northern Brazilian city of Fortaleza. The federation grew, adding more provinces and municipalities. Compared to other nations, ecological preservation is important, similar to the Republic of Cascadia in North America. The Federation has a strong centralized economy.
Government and Politics[]
The Federation is a Federal republic with a bicameral legislature and an elected President.
Foreign Relations[]
The Fortaleza Federation is on good terms with its neighbors, Solaria and the Kingdom of Aurelia, but is skeptical of both. The Fortaleza Federation is also skeptical of most North American nations, but has a positive outlook on Cascadia.
