Nation Information

Euphoria is a very large and older nation at 74 days old with citizens primarily of Caucasian ethnicity whose religion is Hinduism. It is a backwards nation when it comes to technology and many refer to it unkindly as a 'Third World Nation'. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Euphoria work diligently to produce Rubber and Gems as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. When it comes to nuclear weapons Euphoria will not research or develop nuclear weapons. The military of Euphoria has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Euphoria allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. It has an open border policy, but in order for immigrants to remain in the country they will have to become citizens first. Euphoria believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizens right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Euphoria will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.

History

After its formation, Euphoria made an unofficial alliance with The Ocho Cinco and his nation of Tschechisch. Although The Ocho Cinco had a habit of declaring war unprovoked, Euphoria went with him anyway. A few days after being created, Euphoria joined the PREP alliance. Then news came that The Ocho Cinco had been destroyed. He had begged the PREP alliance for help, but they refused on the basis that the war he started was offensive and unprovoked. Euphoria agreed to help Tschechisch, but was handily defeated. Shortly after getting out of the war, the PREP alliance excommunicated The Ocho Cinco, allowing no alliance member to aid him in any way. Euphoria stuck with the PREP alliance, despite his past with Tschechisch, even when the alliance decided to declare war on him on Feburary 28, 2007. This war expired on March 9th, with Tschechisch at less than 4 infrastructure, a clear victory for his alliance.

This peace lasted half of a month, until Tschecisch declared war on two nations within the PREP confederation on March 29, 2007. Euphoria retaliated, and the war ended on April 6th, with a victory for Euphoria.

Tschechisch once again provoked the nation of Euphoria into war on April 10th, with a declaration of war against two of Euphoria's unofficial allies, Gladiotoria and Crazy Country. Tschechisch was nearly reached ZI, but Euphoria negotiated peace terms before that could come to pass.
