The 2008 General Election was the very first election within the EUFN. The purpose of this election was for the members of the alliance to elect a prime minister. It was also a snap election as the elctions was suppose to be held in March 2009. It was held between the 19th to 20th May 2008.
Candidates[]
The canditates were selected by President Dope.
Booze[]
Booze was the current Prime minister of the alliance he has been helpful towards building the alliance for the President.
Prince James III[]
James was a new member of the alliance and was highly tipped by experts to succeed Booze.
Results[]
Throughout the elections James were always out in front and by 11:30pm on the 20th he had won by 80%. He started work as Prime Minister on 21st May 2008 at 00:00.
Legacy[]
During the first day in office the newly elected Prime Minister and President Dope both brought in a new law slashing the terms of both their roles as Prime Minister and Presidency. From January 2009 the Prime Minister's term would last 6 months instead of 1 year while the President's term will last one year instead of 7 years.
