The contents of this page are a policy on the Cyber Nations Wiki.

Vandalism on the Cyber Nations Wiki is defined as deleting or altering contents of an article or page in order to deliberately cause harm to the article and/or the wiki as a whole.

Editors must be sure to first assume good faith in the edits of other users. It is entirely possible the other editor simply does not understand the nature of wikis, or of the purpose of a particular page. Ensure that the other editor understands our policies, especially that pages are to assume a neutral point of view.

An argument as to what content appears on a page is not vandalism if there are simply two differing opinions and the term vandal, or the vandalism process would not be appropriate in this situation. Rather, it'd be better to ask for comments on the Cyber Nations Wiki:Village Pump.

Punishment for vandalism is as follows:

Vandalism to an article or other page, which is not a policy or Main Page:
First offense: Warning.
Second Offense: Second Warning.
Third Offense: Third warning.
Fourth Offense: 24 hour block.
Fifth Offense: 72 Hour Block.
Sixth Offense: 1 Week block.
Seventh offense: Permanent Block.


Vandalism to a policy page:
First offense: Warning.
Second offense: Second warning.
Third offense:24 Hour block.
Fourth offense: 1 Week block.
Fifth offense: 2 Week block.
Sixth offense: Permanent block.

Vandalism to the Main Page:
First offense: First warning.
Second offense: Second Warning.
Third offense: 24 hour block.
Fourth offense: 2 Week block.
Fifth offense: 1 Month block.
Sixth offense: Another 1 month block.
Seventh offense: Permanent block.
