Charax is an independent East European state that declared its independence from the Federation of Ukraine. Currently, Charax is bordered by Ukraine, Russia and Turkey. Considered a rump and impoverished state, economists have practically written off this developing third-world country.
Charax is an Oligarchy. All matters of state and ceremony are delegated to the Party Chairman with approval afforded to him by the Congress of Plebeians. This Congress is composed of twenty-three members that represent the different cities of Charax. With a large holdout of an Italian population that maintained the Crimean peninsula as a holdout dating all the way back to the second century during original Roman occupation, Italian is maintained as the official language.

Shortly after joining the Legion, Charax was asked to participate to assist a neighbor against Clash, ruled by SlayerSPoN. Wanting to prove that early Legion investment into Charax would be used effectively, Charax engaged Clash on October 14th, 2015. The war ended on October 22nd, 2015 and was declared a one-sided victory.
Independence is Tested[]
On October 18, 2015, Jonsongrad declared war on Charax with the casus belli that it was protecting Clash. Early battles placed Charax at a severe disadvantage as its military was routed and its financial institutions devastated. But the war would take a turn for the best as financial assistance from friendly neighbors gave the Charax nation the ability to wage war. On October 24, 2015 victory was declared. Statistical information about the war could not be collected.
