The BDC-BC War, also referred to as the Bubblegum War or Bubblegum Crisis, was a short lived staged war by Zzzptm of Black Defense Council and Schattenmann of Browncoats. Several others who were on IRC that night were privy to the events. The plan was set into action quickly, and the general Browncoats membership was not informed of the reasons for war until roughly twelve hours after the start. It was used as a way for the Browncoats to get out of its treaty obligations, be placed under BDC protection, and, according to Schattenmann, move to the Black Team.
Repercussions of the incident[]

- MyWorld becomes Viceroy of BDC
- BDC under protection of NpO
- Schattenmann and Hung Lo sentenced to Perma-ZI
- BDC removed themselves from CDT
- BDC ToA with NATO has been canceled
- BDC has been suspended from DC until the viceroy term is completed and at that time they can reapply for membership.
- DC-BC War begins after MyWorld cancels existing peace terms.
