The history of Asuseria
Asuseria's history is somewhat brief, although exciting. Asuseria was established in the early 1700s, shortly after the French military forces in Quebecoria were defeated by the battle wary British soldiers. A small Asuserian force, broke away from the British forces, wanting to form their own sovereign nation attacked the British forces, flanking them and all but wiping out an entire battalion. The British forces realizing the Asuserian tenacity and seasoned military tactics, allowed the Asuserian forces to choose their plot of land in the area just north of Lake Ontario, forming the Capitol of Oshawa.
Since that time Asuseria has experienced mind boggling growth and military strength. As part of the growth, a large part is owed to the newly formed The Confederation of Canada a small alliance of nations. Nations part of that alliance have enjoyed a dramatic economic growth. The current leader of the alliance, Sir John A MacDonald has proven a superb leader.
Asuseria's ruler, Sir GenResourceHog, has recently taken on the responsilbity of 'Minister of Development'. The history and future of Asuseria, has and will be exciting. More information will be forthcoming as this nation continues to forge a name for itself.
Nation Information
Asuseria is a medium sized, somewhat developed, and established nation at 130 days old with citizens primarily of Mixed ethnicity whose religion is Islam. Its technology is first rate and its citizens marvel at the astonishing advancements within their nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Asuseria work diligently to produce Spices and Furs as tradable resources for their nation. It is a mostly neutral country when it comes to foreign affairs. It will usually only attack another nation if attacked first. When it comes to nuclear weapons Asuseria will not research or develop nuclear weapons. The military of Asuseria has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Asuseria allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. Its borders are closed to all forms of immigration. Asuseria believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Asuseria will not make deals with another country that has a history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.
