Arturia is a large sized, superbly developed, and aging nation at 671 days old with citizens primarily of Mixed ethnicity who follow no religion. Its technology is first rate and its citizens marvel at the astonishing advancements within their nation. Its citizens pay extremely high taxes and many despise their government as a result. The citizens of Arturia work diligently to produce Spices and Coal as tradable resources for their nation. It is an aggressive country that some say has an itch for war. Arturia is currently researching nuclear technology for the use of nuclear power plants but believes nuclear weapons should be banned. The military of Arturia has been positioned at all border crossings and is arresting all drug traffickers. Arturia allows its citizens to protest their government but uses a strong police force to monitor things and arrest lawbreakers. Its borders are closed to all forms of immigration. Arturia believes in the freedom of speech and feels that it is every citizen's right to speak freely about their government. The government gives foreign aid when it can, but looks to take care of its own people first. Arturia will not make deals with another country that has a poor history of inhuman treatment of its citizens.
Alliance History[]
Arturia joined The Oasis a few months after the nation was founded. Here, the nation grew through technology trading and gained a foothold as a strong financial nation. Arturion was eventually appointed as Minister of Finance for The Oasis, and later on gained a position in the Alumni Council.
After some time, Arturion and a number of other Oasis members decided to strike out on their own and found a new alliance. On May 22, 2007, the New Order of Independence was created. Arturion was selected as a temporary leader until the permanent government could be instated, at which point he became Minister of Finance once again. Later, the charter of NOI was revised to create two High Chancellor positions, of which Arturion was one.
NOI eventually merged with The Confederacy to create Carpe Diem on April 24, 2008. Arturion currently sits as one of the Triumvirs leading Carpe Diem.
