The Anrise Republic, name derived from a corruption of the old popular term for the nation, "a newly risen republic" which refers to how the republic rose from the ashes of the old monarchy, is a fairly religious, isolationist, and libertarian nation of relatively youthful age but of unfathomable history. The current state of the nation, the so-called Anrise Republic, is but a single chapter in an anthology of older nation-states that have dared to encapsulate the eclectic and wary peoples of the land it calls its own. The nation's leader is Rychro Anrise, an enigmatic figure whose name, although clearly influenced by the name of the republic itself, remains an unexplained mystery. Considered simultaneously a genius, a fool, a sage, a fool again, a prophet, still a fool, and a psychotic by both supporters and detractors, Rychro Anrise is easily the most well-known and most vocal citizen of the republic. Despite the nation's ardent and unshakable neutrality, he was capable of convincing the fledgling republic to join the Democratic Order, a membership which has remained consistent and unbroken for nearly five years due to the alliance's fervent neutrality, which is only reinforced by the Anrise Republic's membership.

Rychro Anrise co-authored and signed the Bobogoobo-Anrise Republic Pact, also known as simply the Pact, with Robert O'Goobo XXIV, Supreme Ruler of Bobogoobo, on June 7, 2011, cementing the undying friendship and camaraderie the two leaders and nations share with one another.
Rychro Anrise, representing the Anrise Republic, has been a continuous member of the Democratic Order since April 2007, and has held various positions such as Low Senator (now Senator), High Senator, Chancellor, Minister of Foreign Affairs (later the Minister of the Exterior), and Official Uriah Heep Fan. He is currently a High Senator, Minister of the Exterior, and co-Minister of the Interior.
