Alexandre, Crown Prince of Acheron (Alexandre Chrétien Olivier Astor de Lancret; born 15 August 1983) is the heir apparent to the throne of Acheron. Alexandre is the eldest son of Queen Vivienne I and Olivier, the Prince Consort.
Early life[]
Prince Alexandre was born Alexandre Chrétien Olivier Astor de Lancret in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on 15 August 1983 to an American father and a French Canadian mother. As such, he and his younger siblings held dual citizenship within the United States and Canada. When he was twelve, Alexandre and his family moved to the Toronto neighborhood of Bridle Path after his father Olivier's public relations agency expanded into southern Ontario.
At the age of seventeen, Alexandre applied to Columbia University in New York City, though his application was rejected. He was subsequently applied to and was accepted by the Université de Montréal in Mont-Royal. While at UdeM, Alexandre studied for his bachelor of arts degree, though he also took up in interest in photography. After graduating in 2004, Alexandre moved to Laval and opened his own studio. However, as he was honeymooning in France at the outbreak of the Canadian Crisis in 2008, Alexandre was prevented from returning home.
Personal life[]
Prince Alexandre married his longtime girlfriend Élisabeth du Bourque on 22 October 2008 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. With their honeymoon originally set as a two week tour of France, Alexandre and Élisabeth had to prolong their stay after hearing of the civil unrest in Canada.
Alexandre and Élisabeth met in a small café in Outremont, Montréal. Élisabeth was the best friend of Alexandre's younger brother Bastien, whom he was meeting for lunch one day in 2005, with Élisabeth simply running into them by chance. In 2010, Élisabeth gave birth to their son, Nicolas. The family currently resides on L'Île-Bizard in Montréal, Nièvre.
