Aegis was the informal coalition of alliances on the "south" side of the MDP Web that was defeated by the Initiative and its allies in the Third Great War. It included most of the former League alliances, plus many others including The Sphere MDP bloc. Aegis was sometimes called CoaLegion and was derisively referred to by some in the Initiative as WAEgis.
