Lone Period
Hawaii Islands was formed by 9dj12 on June 5, 2009. 9dj12 was an old member of CN restarting his nation after a year of deletion. As usual the new nation recieved tons of alliance request but only read one. This special message caught his attention. The title stated "Tired of Being a Stat?" from CommanderCato, the great recruiter, of Ascended Republic of Elite States (ARES) he opened it and liked what he read. He liked it so much he went straight to theARES Forums, registered, and posted an application. The application took longer to be processed than he thought and he was about to leave for camp the next day. After 6 days of camp and 4 days of vacation he went right to the ARES Forums and checked the appliction, he forgot to change his AA to Ascended Republic of Elite States! After changing it he was masked and an official member of ARES! His lone period has since then ended.
Hanging with the ARESians
In his first days at ARES 9dj12 was afraid he wouldn't be accepted into ARES like some of the older members. He tended to stay off to the side and only read the threads on the forum. Soon he found the thread "Guess The Next Poster". He decided to post in the thread and play along. This thread soon opened things up and took an immediate liking into CommanderCato, caossal, Barix9, and many other members. After making many friends he thought he should do his part and got a job by being a Sentinel under caossal. After long hard work caossal promoted him to Deputy Triumvirate of Internal Affairs. Believing he was too inexperienced for the job he was hesitant at first, but later grew to love the job. Working as hard as possible 9dj12 made even more friends, including other Deputy Triumvirates, Monstermaster and partymaster. Later realizing he had done everything too fast things started to get dull every passing day. Talking to CommanderCato, who left soon after 9dj12 came to ARES, and Oda on IRC one day, he decided to join The Conservative Underground.
Love for TCU
9dj12 found love in TCU and was immediately given the job Director of Internal Affairs. On the other side of the resignation moods were the exact opposite. People showed their heavy disgrace. While some wished the best of luck and hoped to remain friends, others argued that he was a traitor. After the arguments died down 9dj12 still remained friends with ARES and visited regularly.
