Robert Louis Bourbon was an former Vinsalian noble residing in J Andres. He is the nephew of Francisco Bourbon, former President of Vinsalia. His cousin, Gabriel, became King of Vinsalia upon its second inception. After the death of Gabriel's son, Martin, Robert was the closet remaining heir of Francisco and he became King, moving back to Vinsalia in 2089. He was killed six months later in riots[1], leaving the crown to his oldest grandson, Phillippe, who was the reigning King of J Andres.

In J Andres, the descendants of a non-royal male are not required to take the name of his house as decreed by Queen Stephanie in 2052. In this manner, all royals should be able to trace their ancestry to Josef I or one of heads of the Dukedoms of bestowed peerage. As the Bourbon family is a royal house that has its origin outside of J Andres, its descendents are also allowed to keep their royal pedigree. By Royal Lineage, Robert belongs to the House of Bourbon.
