The Republic of New Quebec was a nation on the east coast of North America.
The Republic of New Quebec was primarily dominated by mountains. It consisted of the former Canadian provinces of Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, as well as the former states of Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
In 2012, the Federation of Disparu, a successor state to Canada dissolved due to a referendum movement proposed by Lamont de Solidor. Disparu territory was administered by Pravus Inguro. Pravus Inguro later collapsed in 2045, leading to the creation of New Quebec and the North American Commonwealth.
New Quebec dissolved in the nuclear aftermath of the Grand Mexican War.
Government and PoliticsEdit
New Quebec was a unitary parlimentary republic, with a Prime Minister selected from the members of the House of Commons. The Social Democratic Party maintained a consistent majority in parliament during the nation's existence.
New Quebec had rough relations with Vinsalia since the reformation of the Kingdom. New Quebec was generally friendly with the North American Commonwealth considering the shared history under the Pravus Inguro banner; however, New Quebec fought against the North American Commonwealth and the other Triad countries during the Grand Mexican War.
