Michael Annan, or Earl Michael was the 7th Minister of War and Defense during the Presidency of Roger Ahmadinejad and later served as the first Earl of Danbury. Michael is a grandson of Adrik Annan.

Michael was a former Naval officer before being appointed as the Minister of War and Defense. After the collapse of the Fourth Maritime Republic, he returned to his family in Hartford. Once the Fifth Maritime Republic came into existence he was presented with a peerage of his own, as the Earl of Danbury. He also was the CEO of Annan Arms, the weapon manufacturing arm of Annan Enterprises.

Michael and his youngest child, Ho-chi, 28 at the time, were murdered by the Knights of Cromwell on November 3, 2061. Their assassinations were the first of many as the Knights sought to eliminate all Andrean royals.

AncestryEdit

PatrilinealityEdit

Patrilineality, descent as reckoned from father to son, has historically been the principle determining membership in reigning families. By the paternal line, Michael belongs to the House of Annan.

House of Annan
  1. Kofi Annan of Kensington Mews
  2. Adrik, Duke of Rossingol
  3. Gafar, Duke of Rossingol

Royal HouseEdit

In J Andres, the descendants of a non-royal male are not required to take the name of his house as decreed by Queen Stephanie in 2052. In this manner, all royals should be able to trace their ancestry to Josef I or one of heads of the Dukedoms of bestowed peerage. As such, by Royal Lineage, Michael belongs to the House of Annan.
